Spring Day Retreat – Mindfulness and Movement
Sunday 26th April 2026, 10am – 2:30pm
Upton Pyne Village Hall, conveniently located just outside Exeter, within easy travelling distance of Crediton, Cullompton, Tiverton and the surrounding area

The spring day retreat combines gentle mindful movement practices with other forms of mindfulness and meditation. It offers the opportunity to engage in a range of practices which support appreciating, and connecting more deeply, with the beauty of this season through the senses.
We will experience mindful walking outdoors in this lovely rural location and engage in mindful seeing and hearing practices.
The mindful movement element of the day will involve bringing detailed awareness to simple stretches and a gentle sequence of postures. This will awaken the body, and support you in feeling more grounded and connected with yourself.
Guidance will be provided for all practices so the day will be suitable for newcomers to mindfulness. No previous experience of yoga, pilates or other movement practices required. The day also provides an opportunity for those with experience to come together and practice with others.

Upton Pyne Village Hall
The summer day retreat offers a nourishing space, in a peaceful rural setting, to explore how mindfulness and creativity support one another to calm the mind.
Through guided mindfulness practices and a range of creative activities, you’ll be invited to be present, let go of self-judgement and allow creativity to flow more freely.
